When I look back at all the different and challenging topics that have been covered on this site, your author is overwhelmed. I look at my life with it's sin and failures, and wonder how I could have gotten the boldness to have undertaken such a work. And you may trust me, work it has been!
Still, the edifice that has been constructed is amazing. I can only hope that it is not, entirely, built on shifting sand. Some things, obviously, will be shown to be wrong. What they are, I cannot say. To me, everything looks right. That, in itself, should be a warning.
"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." I can only hope that, where I have failed, the Spirit will guide you so that you may be protected. In this situation, I can't help but echo the abject submission of Job.
Job 42:2-6
2“I know that Thou canst do all things,
And that no purpose of Thine can be thwarted.
3‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
“Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand,
Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.”
4‘Hear, now, and I will speak;
I will ask Thee, and do Thou instruct me.’
5“I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear;
But now my eye sees Thee;
6Therefore I retract,
And I repent in dust and ashes.”
So, I have repented of my hubris, now we can go on.
When you find things about this site that are 'wrong', I'd be pleased to know. That way I'll have a chance to 'correct' them and make things better. You'll have noticed that I've put 'wrong' and 'correct' within quotation marks. Why did I do this? I did this because you may find things that you think are wrong, but I may think those same things are correct. Ultimately, in such a situation, they won't be changed unless my mind is changed. I recognize that I am limited and ignorant in many ways. I have a lot to learn. Maybe you can teach me. Still, some of our areas of disagreement may be intractable. It may be that my mind is convinced on the matter, and I may not change. That, too, is a possibility. After all, "All have sinned . . ."
If you are concerned with issues regarding the Exegeses on this site, I'd very much like to hear them. If you have a different understanding of HOW the theoretical transitions between the levels work, I'd like to hear of those concerns as well. You will, likely, find that the other sections of this website are less involved than these first two. Even in these latter areas, I'd be pleased to hear of any concerns with the way I have treated these areas.
IF, after all of this, you still have something that you feel needs to be changed, let me know at:
